I don't like the way this thing went down either, opportunity for picks or not. The guy came in here posted a bunch of winners and got criticized because he said he had a great day in college the day before. So what? Then he was told he couldn't say that because he didn't post those picks here! Are you kidding with that? I went 6-2 on CBB the other night. Something wrong with saying that? I don't know what it is that gets certain people's shorts to tighten which seems to affect their brains and cause them to attack a person for that, but that's basically what happened. Then the guy finally loses it after being continually harrassed and says a few out of line things, and the alterior motive theory surfaces and he's history. A similar thing happened when Meg came on and took crap because people said she was not a she. She hung in though. Some of you guys need a life; you worry about the most ridiculous things. Maybe she should have sent you a pair of her panties to prove it. Same with stick, he should have been posting here since day one, right? Maybe he wasn't aware of the site, maybe he was, but you can't judge many people in 1 day in person (that's real life, not cyberspace) never mind on the net. There needs to be some thought and common sense (which BTW is not so common) put into posts. Maybe we need a 5 min delay before a post hits the forum so people can rethink some of the nonsense that they are about to expose the rest of us to. Regardless I hope the judgers don't work in real life like that because they are certainly missing out on a lot of valuable input from people they discounted before they had a chance to see their value! Geppi, Very good points but you are really comparing apples with oranges .,,, .. Giving Meg a rough time had nothing to do with posting plays or thinking she was a service trying to scam the site .. I truly thought she was a male member here just trying to goof around .. because trust me, we have a couple of those going right now .. Glenda Potz and there is another one I can not think of it right now .. maybe a vet can help me ... if you go back and look at the thread I even say, I think it is one of the mice .. because I thought it was a joke ... and yes, she stuck with it and that is why Wayne and I respect her to the fullest .. I know I can say I am very happy the way things turned out for her and the forum ... She is big part of the BC crew here .. Like I want everyone to be ... Come and visit me at ..such and such ... or they will say e-mail me and I will give you my plays .. it is just a ploy ... it is either to get you to another site or have you pay for their plays from now on ... Absolutely not .. that is why they are here .. to create drama on the forum ... They are here to make BC members look like the bad guys .. and I have to admit this but they do a very good job of it .. They are here to draw attention .. and you can believe me or not but this is the way it is .. Try to remember, this is not my first rodeo .. I have been on these forums a long time ... This is the 4th site I have been a moderator on ... I have seen an awful lot .. Wayne has been here since, I think 2002 ... he has seen an awful lot around here also ...Comment

Spark, you are 100% right....I got scammed into paying Thousands over the years when I was young to people like stick and *******.....Con artists are always trying to steal people's harded earned $$$. And the INTERNET is no different...
Come onto a site and they go 2-8, they are gone like the wind..Come onto a site and go 8-0 and then they turn into the greatest of All time and ask people to send me $$$$ for their picks. It won't change and I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I quess if people here follow then you'll learn the hard way...

Regarding your forum history congratulations on your prior experience, but please note that I have been posting on forums since 1998. Started at TS, MJ, **, OffSh, and many others where I still go to and post. Visit many others today also; some regularly, some rarely, some daily.
I also don't understand the worry of the so called "recruiting". Everyone knows there are many other sites/forums out there and I'm sure they visit them regularly. You don't need help finding the other ones, you just need to do a search. The Internet is open to all and easy to navigate, my 9 y/o grandson can do it, and BTW there are new sites popping up everyday, i.e., mv..., eo..., sc..., Buddy's, etc. People will stay where they are comfortable with the group, the layout and the management of the forum. You aren't really stopping anyone from moving on by controlling side discussions between members. If you really believe that you are only kidding yourself. This is what I don't understand....when someone comes in brand spanking new and is screaming for attention...why don't some of you understand where this is going? When you scream for attention and want the drama, there is an agenda...pure and simple.
The members that have been here for a while as well as the mods have seen this happen time after time. Spark's famous line here is "give em enough rope and they'll hang themselves"...and that's what they do time after time.
But even after its done and over with, there is still the new posters being pissed at the vets for "running the scam" off the site!!! WTF?? Time after time, the scams are caught, they are banned.....but you still after all this STILL want to gripe over it?
Hell, I thank guys like Chuck, Frank, RJ, Spark, Wayne....and so many others..and again I apologize for the vets I left out that sell the rats right away, even though it's not that hard to do...and weed them out for the betterment of this site.
I hate that a lot of us get caught up in the drama, because that's exactly what they want to gain more sheep to flock...but it seems we fall for it every time. But I think it's because we care about this place a lot....at least that's why I get caught up in things here.
I remember my first day here, I posted my POD in the All sports section...not reading the rules first like a dumb ass....a couple of you jumped me real quick, but realized just as quickly that I wasn't trying to scam anyone...it was a mistake, and it didn't happen again. They didn't smell a rat....and I think i've proven myself here not to be......so I little by little tried to earn the respect of the ones that were here before me and in doing that gained respect.
But if your coming in here demanding respect and causing drama....you've just got to get your "scam-radar" ...because it's been done so many times before and it'll be done so many times again.

So you think by what happened here will protect someone from getting scammed. You're kidding? If you believe that than you are still ripe for plucking. even at your age. People learn from mistakes generall and some don't and won't. When people are losing money some become desperate and will do anything to try to get resloution to their problem. Sometimes successful and sometimes not. Desperate people do desperate things and that's a fact proven everyday. This is gambling Chuck and some people can control it and others can't; some people lose their shirts, some lose little and most don't win...otherwise there wouldn't be gambling.
