I don't post a lot on any of the forums I belong to for a variety of reasons none of which should be your concern. Why are you so worried about what my previous posts were anyway? Seems to me thats the same as worrying about someone's stated record and how you value it. Also, Dr. Bob has some good takes on the games and is a solid guy who has been around for a long time and if you remember posting services used to be allowed here. Try reading some of his write ups on the games, they're very informative and sometimes you think his stats don't support the team he picks so you go the other way. Oh ans don't worry about my contributions; I speak up when I feel I should and I don't BS a lot. You got in the guys (Sticks) face (BTW I don't see a "moderator" title under your alias) and then you got upset when he made reference to your "pizza" counts. And Chucky I've been here since 2002 and will probably be here long after your pizza's are burnt.

First of all I was here also in 2002, but never posted, just lurked....I joined in 2003 after Spark left another site that I viewed and I followed him because I felt like he was a great guy and liked what he does...
Before interneted gambling started, I joined up with a friend that became a service, I made over $2000 a week for my investment....My partner joined Dr. Bob and since left and is working for Wayne Root and Big Al in Vegas....I can tell you stories that would make you sick at what goes on with services..
One example is..... He has a client that bets $50,000- $250,000 everyweek in Vegas....He gives this client the Top plays from Root that no-one but hight Rollers get.....The Client bet $250,000 and gave my buddy $25,000 comission...
So you are clueles, believe me....The rest of the plays he gives out like "No Limit" plays are minor compared to what he gives....
Only small companies pay to a conscenious site that 50% on a game one way and the other 50% the other way....

But I'm not bashing you, just asking for your participation, cause that's what a gambling forum is supposed to be for...
As far as Scammers, they just won't be around long...

The banning of service plays in BC has FORCED many people to scurry into other sites for the Information out of necessity.

So please don't try to tell me that first and foremost we must guard against anyone who is trying to get us to defect out of this site and into another. That ship has sailed ... at least half of us now visit other sites for info that we could still be receiving here. This was Monte's decision ... Legal reasons were cited as the cause . What ? The owners of 20 other sites do not have attorneys ? Is this the only one ? I don't think so.

I banned stickman when he posted another forum, said fuck this site, and talked of where another banned member was. Those are 3 things not allowed here and right, wrong, or indifferent, i agree with Monte not wanting any of it.

Did i bash or question stick for anything? No. I watched the thread, did an IP check, and stated he was "Clean" in my book. I hoped it would clear things up for others at the time. I did see doubters but i also saw OVERWHELMING support for his picks as well.

What "I" saw didn't warrant him posting what he did. He had more "Love" here then alot of those so called "Vets" combined. He wasn't treated in a way that should have led to what he did.

Why ban him? Well, how many times do you let him rip this place or talk about others without it affecting your "Home" in a negative way? He knew he would get banned and we knew if he did it once, he would do it 10 times.


Recruiting: Yes, i do think it's wrong. Geppi, yes, people know of other sites, no doubt. Does that mean we should promote them here though? Seriously?


Walk around inside of Wal Mart and pass out Target flyers. See how long your in the store. Is it because nobody has heard of Target or knows where it is? No, of course they do but in a competing business you're not going to help your competition out, PERIOD! Do people go to both stores? Probably, but when your at one, their job is to keep you there, not show you something and say it's cheaper across the street.

It's also FREE here. Go to a food shelter that's FREE and make demands for steak next time. See if they let you back in. My point is that every forum has different rules and they all work for the people running it. As a member of a FREE forum you always have the option of liking or disliking what they offer, just like Wal Mart and Target.

We like to think we offer alot here but it's not a daycare either. If you want to come here and be treated like an adult than act like one when you open the door to greet us. I'm not saying he didn't do that. I'm just saying it happens lately ... ALOT!

Why get pissed off about it. We don't ask anything from people that come here and that includes money. You see what's offered and you either enjoy it or you don't. We try our best to keep things in order and i'll be the 1st to say it's harder dealing with a long time member than it is a so called newbie when it happens. It's not because it's a clique nearly as much as it is you know the person and their history, unlike the new person.

Alot of things are talked about we try to be fair but it's like a new guy coming to work with you and he rips into a guy you've known, liked, and worked with for years. It's not easy being neutral or siding with the new guy when your 1st impression looks like it does. That's all. I believe in everyone posting and getting a fair shake but you have to know what will bring the bashers and what won't. I'm sure it's not their 1st time posting on a board. Sometimes these topics turn into 5 threads and 1,000 replies. It gets out of control quickly because everyone feels like they need to "Step In". Well, i'll be honest in saying IT DOESN'T HELP!

i understand why he was banned, and he did need to be disciplined, but to say that you don't think that the "coments" he received "warranted" his reaction to them is a little short sighted i think. what he did was wrong, but if you poke a dog, it's gonna bite you, even if the dog is disguised as a cat. i also understand that you get to know people on here, but if you say you don't see them pile on when one of their brothers starts in on a guy, you either have blinders on or you are kidding yourself. i do not say this to be disrespectful, it is just the truth, you heard it from cb and others before me.
what really disgusted me though, was the way some of the "senior" members here were high fiving and laughing when he did get banned, because even if they won't admit it, they know deep down that they drove him out.....

Wow! Thanks for letting me in on that tidbit. That is extremely impressive. I don't know anyone influential like that or with that kind of money. Makes me sort of nervous. You should go to the nearest mirror and tell yourself how wonderful you are! You're really sort of connected huh? Remind me never to get in a discussion with you again. It's tough being clueless as you have stated. But your not bashing! Someday I hope to grow up a be a big man with a big ego and a little mind.

my eyes are open, he didn't do any of that stuff for the first hundred responses he got getting accused of being rain, even after spark cleared him. guys still came on and said " oh, doesn't he sound familiar, the way he starts his sentences" and other dumb stuff. in the end, he did things that cannot and should not be tolerated, but that road was at least partly paved by bettorschat "vets"...

thats not true....he got praise from everyone including "vets" for his 8-0 sunday, then he stated he was 27-4 or some crap like that for the week and thats when people when jumped on him because he posted a false record.

Who cares about his stated record? That and a buck wouldn't get you a cup of coffee anywhere. Go read the post again. There were more doubters and inuendos than anything else. The pats on the back were definitely out weighed by the negative posts and negatives always stand out more, and have more affect than positives. It's a fact of life. He's was told outright that he was someone else and it wasn't true. You'd get irritated too. If I were new to a place and got that haranguing to start out with I might say the hell with it too.
