so I got to share this with everyone...cause if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at.
Griffey (Nate) IM's me the other day to say hello...we hadn't been formally introuduced so to speak and we start chatting for a bit...shooting the shit.
He tells me about moving to Iowa, that his wife was the athletic director at SDSU, and now living in Iowa...I am thinking...wow big change...warm to cold etc...
And then the conversation turns to baseball and he says that he's never been to a non dome baseball game. Now I think that's strange since he lived in SD....(me thinks san diego) and say "dude...you've never been to a Padres game and you lived there???"
He laughs and says...no SOUTH DAKOTA!
yeah, I felt stupid.
