If it's not your temp files, then it could be java giving you problems...

go to Tools
Internet Options
click "Delete Files", click "All all offline content"
click OK
then click "settings" and make sure "Every time you visit the page" is checked.
Click OK, OK

Try it out, it they don't work then...

1. Enable java and Javascript:
go to Tools
Internet options
security
click on internet.
custom level
enable java related items (towards the bottom of the list)

if it still doesn't work then you're probably going to need to reinstall IE

And have you tried running a virus scan and a spyware scan?

Monte-- yes i can see all the banners, and all the avatars even though they don't move... and i do both scans regularly

Bilbal... those settings were already there, i recently downloaded the newest java for another application..
if i reinstall ie, do i lose alot of my shit?

Dump IE and use Maxthon. I've been using it for 2 years now and I like it a lot better then IE, never had any of these problems!

There will be another update to the software on this site as there are some IE errors. I don't know if its causing the errors that you're having as I can see everything and i'm on IE.

Update...

I don't know why, didn't do anything different but they move now... smilies and avatars!
He is bouncing, they are happy and sad, and they had a big fight and made up!!

Only a few don't work... :angryfire :uzi: and .... and worst of all my smiley-boobs don't bounce any more!! Damn those boobs!
