  • Spark, I Enjoyed Our Visit Together

I went visit Spark at the Shady Oaks Nursing Home early Saturday morning. Spark and I met and had a great day of conversation.

It was getting late and it was Spark's bed time. Spark's nurse came in his room and gave him some hot chocolate and a Viagra. Spark took his pill and drank his hot chocolate. In just minutes Spark was sound asleep in his bed.

After the nurse and I left the room, I had to ask her, "Why did you give Spark hot chocolate and a Viagra? I mean, at his age what will it do for him?"

The nurse explains, "The hot chocolate will help Spark sleep all night long."

I then ask, "And why the Viagra?"

The nurse answered "It keeps him from rolling out of bed during the night."

Wow Jimmy- They moved Spark from the mental ward to a nursing home- I am happy for him. I called the nursing home and the viagra is now been replaced by cialis. Seems Viagra was giving Spark a headache and he was becoming confused as to what he should rub.

When I visited Spark at the nursing home I found him in the lobby sitting on a sofa. I was kind of upset that they left someone of his age with a feeble mind all alone, so went to talk with the administrators.

Spark started to tilt slowly toward the left. A Doctor came by and said, "Let me help you." The Doctor piled several pillows on the left side of the old man so he would stay upright.

A few minutes later Spark started to tilt slowly to the right. An orderly noticed and put several more pillows on his right side to keep him upright.

Spark then started to lean forward when a nurse came by and piled several pillows in front of him. About this time, the I returned.

"Well, Spark, this a nice place and I'm sure they'll be more attentive."

The old man replied, "I guess it's ok, but they won't let me fart."
