Its Not What He Got Accomplised In This Life, Its What He Won't Have In The After Life, Just Makes Room For One More In Heaven, He Didn't Change The Thinking Of The Majority Or Their Beliefs, He Will Be The First One When Trouble Exist To Say"oh Pls God Help Me"
wow don't get me wrong...there is nothing wrong with saying the pledge without the words "under god"...it's not a 100 year old tradition..the words "under god" were not there till our congress added them in 1954...if you want your children to say them that's something that needs to be done at home not in our school system...and no you can't just have the children go to class and not say the words...the mere statement "one nation under god" has a coercive effect on these young impressionable children...way to go judge karlton.

We'll have to agree to disagree on THIS ONE ss..... it's part and parcel of Our Heritage ....Nation was not founded by a BUNCH of Aetheist Bastards .....
Hard to take issue with a sexy brunette who contributes to a gambling website, but if you start with the pledge, it's the beginning of a LONG list of things to change to get references to God out. And being the father of 2, I can truly say that every time my children say the pledge, they say it with pride and reference. If the coercive effects are what I've seen in my own children, then all the more reason to keep "under God" in there.
