thanks fellas. pgm is professional golf management. i do books to become a golf professional. spearit- thanks man. i will have to check into that area. moondog- i am from wisconsin myself. blackwolf run is a great golf course. i probably want to go somewhere other than wisconsin though. i went to the pga last year whistling straights. it was pretty cool. tiger and john daly actually went to blackwolf run that week to practice. they used the range at blackwolf instead of whistling. they were pretty much by themselves. a guy told me his job was to give them whatever they wanted that week. thanks fellas!

Word of advice for you: Don't worry about what course you will be working at. Much more important to be working for the right person. If I were you, I would first decide on an area that I want to work in. Then go to the chapter (or section) website and find out who the good pro's are. Work for a good pro, don't worry about the course.

Also, you should decide now what kind of a course you want to run when you get your membership. That will help you get through the program with a goal.

The PGA is all about networking. Have a good mentor. Good luck to you.
