Happy Father Day to all you guys also----Everyone has a special day they put above all others---this is mine...Having raised 6 sons (Shane 38)(Shaun 37)(Scot 36)(Stuart 35)(Steen 31)(Sloan 28)...theres no greater feeling than to talk with them---after they have matured (grown up) and have families of their own..

When they make statements like "I know now what you meant Dad"...."you called that one Dad"..."I tell my kids the same thing now"..."Thanks for teaching us ethics and morals"..."How in the hell could you afford to raise all 6 of us and send us through College"...."I know why you worked all the time"...and one of my favorites, this is what its all about, "If I had to pick a Dad, knowing what I know now, I'd pick you"...

We ususally gather around my house, and they tell stories of my sayings, correcting them, fishing stories, sports stories, school stories, and rejuvinate a feeling of being thankful, that they had parents who cared for them....Plenty don't...

This is indeed my reward for all the hard work, time, patience and love put into these individuals...It's all about Family...

Now you guys can see why I love this day so much...GrandKids come along with em, and I look at them, and see some of my Son in each one of em...
