    >And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.
    >
    >Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.
    >
    >No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated it than Iraq.
    >
    >And also... This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

    >The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)
    >
    >Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

            Killerb:

First of all buddy the verse at the end of your list is totally false!!! It was created after 9/11.

            http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/quran.asp

Second of all, who put this list together, LOL? Yes, a lot of things from the Bible happened near or around Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Isreal, Turkey, and so on. It was the only "known" world at the time. However, the exact location of the garden of Eden is not known, it is said to be located between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, that is the location of the most fertile soil in the world. The list is highly questionable, LOL.

"The wise men were from Iraq?" LOL. Not to get religious here, and I don't want to open that door, but there were not three of them either. No where in the Bible does it say "THREE" wise men came to meet Jesus. This assumption comes from the fact that "they" brought him gifts of 3 different things (one bringing each), it's false as well. Research has it that there were probably twelve, one from each of the tribes of Isreal, but that's only speculation. They came from Iraq is highly doubtful as well, LMAO!

              Killer,

That's very interesting info. I'm sure as Tigger said that some of it is not 100% correct or true, but thank you for sharing it.

              Tigger,

I was waiting to see how long it would take for someone to question some of it, and I appreciate the correct info., I don't think you have to laugh at him though, he's just sharing some info. Thanks for sharing too, you seem like u know a lot about religion and the old bible.

Fellas, let's not go down this path and open up a huge can of worms. As long as one believes, that's all that matters. Peace out!

I absolutely 100% agree with this statement Hokie. I have no interest here in starting up a religious "talk/fight/dispute/arguement/discussion".

RJ - I am not laughing at killer at all. Just cause I am "LOL" that does not make it at him. Just wanted to clear that up, I would never laugh at someone's religious beliefs, for mine are different as well and I would expect the same respect back. Just laughing, and that's it. Take care buddy.

We went service and sold our picks to Saddam. He didn't pay so we used force to get paid.
