Going to Milwaukee June 6-8 to catch the Yankee series. Any body tell me a nice Hotel close to Miller Park? Also any good restaurants. Like a good steak and also seafood. Never been to Milwaukee so any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

You'll have a good time. I drive down a couple times a summer and always hit the Twins/Brewers series. I usually stay on the outskirts of town to save a little money and even then I'm only 10 to 15 minutes away from Miller Park. I would highly recommend you get a little tailgating in when your there. Brewer fans are a different breed of Wisconsin fans they know there team is harmless and it's people just having good time instead of picking fights and so on at say like a Badger football game.

Didn't answer either of your questions but I've always had a helluva good time when I've been in Milwaukee and think you will to. Real easy city to get around in.

Thanks Rhino. I'm flying up so I won't get to do any tailgating. I've heard the same about the Brewer fans. All games are night games so I'll have to find somewhere to go during the day. Wonder if there is a tour of Jeffrey Dahmers birthplace available :chainsaw: :chainsaw:

This isn't what I would call "nice food", but you gotta try Real Chili.

Go online and find a good hotel in the downtown area. The casino is alot of fun and they have a good poker room. Actually a real nice casino. As for restaurants-- Milwaukee is known for their steaks-- I go up twice a year for the cubs series. I will get you the best restaurants up there. Last time we stayed at Wyndham- it was nice and a lot of restaurants around there. Also good bars.

Actually a fun thing to do is go up early and eat at the Fridays inside the stadium-- find out when they open and get there about an hour or 1/2 hour early to wait in line.

I Actually Lived 5 Blocks From Where Jeffrey Dammer Lived ,at The Time They Caught Him, And Believe Me,
There Is Nothing About His Location To Look At (unless You Want To Tour
              Marquette University; Few Blocks Away).
If You Like Dog Racing, Go To Dairyland Greyhound Park 30 Minutes Away.
Have A Good, Fun And Safe Trip Up There.
