I would try, booting your machine in SafeMode. Do you have Spybot or Adware installed on your PC?
If so, run them and see what happens. Normally systems not booting properly are from Spyware on the machine.
If you don't have them installed your best chance is. If you have a different PC with a burner is downloading those apps. "They are both free. " Burning them to a CD and installing them on the other machine then running the app.
Hope this helps you out.Last edited by Homer; 04-26-2005, 12:45 PM.1 of 1 Morons

IMO its as important if not more important to run Spybot or Ad-aware as anti-virus programs. I use Ad-aware it's free and it's great. I never have problems with any of my computer systems. It helps that I rarely visit porn sites.

Try this
Fire it up..you should see a OS selection menu..should say something like this
Start Microsoft Window XP and
Microsoft Recovery Console
Select MS Recovery Console, follow on screen prompts
Select 1 for the C:\Windows hit enter
it may ask for Admin password,if you have a password you use to login use that,if not just try hitting enter.
Once that is done, you will have a command prompt C:\Windows
type in... chkdsk /f /r......there are spaces between /f and /r
This will take about 20 minutes or so to scan.Let me know how you make out.^^^^NICE KLUMP HA?^^^^

It was either Blaster or ninda. It's been awhile and I can't keep track cause there is so many. Down load AVG Anti virus. It's free and it's good. Also download ad a ware. Again its free. This is for spyware

I will have a friend who is A+ certified come by this afternoon and take a look at it. Thank you for your help."Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant'
