I'll chime in. Here's an idea, when someone posts a play, wish him good luck, lurk or don't even read it, but leave the poster alone. Don't list reasons why you disagree unless the poster asks for comments. Hell if you dont like the pick, post the opposite in your own thread. This is all we need to do to make this forum run smoothly. 90% of the arguments arise from picks being bashed or records being questioned.

BB, unlike many cappers who post their plays I appreciate when other members come into my thread and challenge my selections. I have enough confidence in my capping that I'm not going to be swayed. Secondly, hearing other opinions potentially makes us better cappers. The key is how it's done. If it's done tactfully then it should be ok.
Unfortunately, some members forget this is an open forum. Everyone and everything is fair game. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. Some members can't take the heat. Whenever there's a disenting opinion they explode. On a forum like this where members are risking their hard earned dollars you better develop ***** skin.
Flipper, I don't know who you are refering to about being jealous and bashing other members. On Saturday, RJ and I were messing around. At no time did we bash or question the selections. I bet the Mets on Saturday. RJ also bet the Mets. I took exception to Rips usage of the term 'LOCK'. Rip is entitled to use that term. I'm entitled to offer my opinion about the use of the term 'LOCK'. That is what this site is about.
Frank,
I respect you as a capper and I notice that you offer your opinion in a genuine way, but I was referring to the general disregard to people's opinions.
I may have opened up a can of worms by starting this thread and I meant no harm or hurt to anyone. Just wanted to get something off my chest.

i feel the exact same way. unlike frank though, there has been 2 occasions where i cancelled my bet because someone brought something good to my attention. i always appreciate positive criticism in my threads.
