no it doesn't. there's a story where an ancient king was taught the game of chess. delighted he asked the person who showed him what he wanted. he said 1 gold piece on the first square, 2 on the second, 4 on the third and to double that amount each square until all the squares are covered. the king agreed until he found out the total was more than he, or anyone else ever had, so he executed him.
