            Waynechung...you're showing your age.
I was around for all that too.
I thought everyone forgot about King Crimson (Greg Lake on vocals).
ELP was one of my favorites back in the day.
Saw them at Soldier Field in 1977...wow...almost 30 years ago and seems like yesterday.

Anyway, this is a tough question...I'll have to think about it.

            Nice thread Matt

                • I guess its probably obvious my taste in music. Rock lives country sucks. Top 10 1. Beatles Revolver 2.Beatles Magical Mystery Tour 3. Rush Moving Pictures 3. Led Zepplin IV 4. Boston Boston 4. Pearl Jam Ten 5. Soundgarden Superunknown 6. Van Halen 5150 7.U2 Joshua Tree 8. The Alarm The Declaration 9. The Zombies Oddesey and Oracle 10. Kiss Alive 1 . 11. Metallica Metallica (you cant leave this great lp out of your top 10!) Another great live lp to listen to is the out of print lp The Beatles at The Hollywood Bowl. If you listen to it with a headset you start to get what Beatlemania really was! The Police were great in concert and the best concert i ever attended was The Alarm/U2 in 1983.Went to see U2 again in 85 and it wasnt close to the 83 concert.

                  • Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor
A great metal band that I saw tearing it up opening for Megadeth this summer. A singer that actually sings and not your run of the mill "cookie monster vocals" that is all too prevalent in metal today.

                    Opeth - Ghost Reveries
Talented band from Norway that I would describe as a cross between death metal and Pink Floyd....heavy and clean vocals, lots of acoustic passages, melodic and brutal at the same time.
