Bud Gregg really gave you some great advice !!! Everything he mentioned is well worth doing. Make a note on everything he outlined.
New Orleans is one of my favorite cities ... the food is outrageous - the music - the women - the whole ambience.
Try to get a reservation at " Commander's Palace " It's one of the finest restaurants in the world. It's pricey but the food is wonderful . Also, their wine collection is 2nd to none.
Have a Ball , Knock and try to get some sleep when you're down there . With so much going on all the time you'll need to force yourself to get rest when you can.
Have a great stay - I know you'll have a ball.
Best Regards,
Neil
Oh PS - There are some areas that you should definitely stay away from. High Crime in some surrounding areas. Make sure your hotel concierge briefs you fully on where not to go. Follow his instructions and you'll have the time of your life.Last edited by CoverBoy; 02-12-2005, 06:21 PM.

Like Bud Gregg, I too am from the New Orleans area. He mentioned tons of things that are worth spending time doing, especially the D-day museum. Take note of what coverboy told you, there are definitely some areas you do not want to change a flat tire in around here, LOL. The one draw back to living in N.O. is that when we go on vacation, the food usually sucks compared to what we get treated to everyday down here. Enjoy your stay.

Knock,
There is some great advice in the above replys. Definately go to the D-Day museum, a must see, and Pat O'Brians as well. Enjoy the sites in Jackson Square, French Quarter, and the Riverwalk. Great information at (nola . c o m). Also check out Cafe Du Monde. Have Fun!Last edited by Lsufan; 02-13-2005, 07:01 PM."Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant'

Dear Knock,
We will be in New Orleans the same time as you. Come find us at Larry Flynt's Hustler Club. We have the best seat in the house.
