Anti-American, propaganda garbage. It's great for liberal, pussy actor/activists who love to criticize but would never have the balls to defend the country that gives them the opportunity to earn milllion$.
"Your first shot puts him down, then you put one in his brain. Then he's dead, then we go home."
Im not gonna comment until I see the flick but GW and his BUDDIES have gotten filthy rich with their investments in these foreign countries thats for sure and I for one do not feel safer today than I did say right after 9/11
he's getting rich(er) off of the war, plain and simple. It's the only reason he made the flick, he knew it would sell tickets, and he edits his films very shrewdly. He makes you believe you're having the wool pulled over your eyes, and you are, but it's by him.
Here are some good links that deal with Moore's twisting of "the truth"
I haven't seen the movie or want to get into politics, but having just read Worse than Watergate by John Dean, a scathing indictment of this administration, I am sure at least some of what is said about Bush in the movie is true.
The movie shows the video's of the Bush Lies plain & simple, how can you bash a movie you havent seen. YOu guys sound like that liar RUSH Limpdick!!! This is America , we are not forced to agree with our President and if I disagree that doesnt mean I love this country less than the next guy. It's amazing to me how the Bush people claim we havent done anything for our country well none of his cabinet served 1 day in the ARMED FORCES!! Read and research the info and do not look to Fox (faux ) News for your info! Go to the movie and then tell me where the lies are but until then I dont see how you can determine what the truth is.

Here is a perfect example of how he uses film editing to "not present things as they actually happened". It was from an article on MSNBC:
It is true that there are still some in the FBI who had questions about the flights-and wish more care had been taken to examine the passengers. But the film’s basic point—that the flights represented perhaps the supreme example of the Saudi government’s influence in the Bush White House-is almost impossible to defend. Why? Because while the film claims—correctly—that the “White House” approved the flights, it fails to note who exactly in the White House did so. It wasn’t the president, or the vice president or anybody else supposedly corrupted by Saudi oil money. It was Richard Clarke, the counter-terrorism czar who was a holdover from the Clinton administration and who has since turned into a fierce Bush critic. Clarke has publicly testified that he gave the greenlight—conditioned on FBI clearance.
“I thought the flights were correct,” Clarke told ABC News last week. “The Saudis had reasonable fear that they might be the subject of vigilante attacks in the United States after 9/11. And there is no evidence even to this date that any of the people who left on those flights were people of interest to the FBI.” Like much else relevant to the issues Moore raises, Clarke’s reasons for approving the flights—and his thoughts on them today—won’t be found in “Fahrenheit 9/11,” nor in any of the ample material now being churned out by the film-maker’s “war room” to defend his provocative, if flawed, movie.
Less than 1000 casualties. Saddam Hussein out of power and about to be hanged by his own people. The possibility of a new way---freedom and democracy---in the middle east. Al Qaida forced to fight us there rather than here. No more torture chambers. An alternative for Muslims than terrorism or monarchy. America boldly goes it alone and wins. Yeah, Iraq sure was a mistake. Fahrenheit 911---this decade's movie for the 1980s geekniks who thought Reagan was insane for thinking he could win the Cold War. Open your minds. Iraq in 04 rivals Appomatox in 1865 and the Eagle's Nest in 1945 as America's greatest victories. Some lead. Others whine, and benefit. Thank you to our troops and President. Michael Moore? Thanks for paying taxes to support the efforts of those who see what your bigoted eyes cannot.
as far as the article regarding michael issikof about the airlines that was posted earlier in the thread ..... you can read michael moore's rebuttal on his web-site at www.michaelmoore.com where he backs upeverything with FACT...
Michael Isikoff and Newsweek Magazine Deceive the Public About Fahrenheit 9/11
In the June 28, 2004 issue of Newsweek Magazine, Newsweek writer Michael Isikoff makes completely false and misleading statements about facts and issues contained in Fahrenheit 9/11. Isikoff has also gone on television shows repeating the charges.
Here are some of the falsehoods he is telling, and the truth:
Saudi Flights: Isikoff writes that "The movie claims that in the days after 9/11, when airspace was shut down, the White House approved special charter flights so that prominent Saudis - including members of the bin Laden family - could leave the country. Author Craig Unger appears, claiming that bin Laden family members were never interviewed by the FBI. Not true, according to a recent report from the 9/11 panel."
Isikoff's account of the movie is flatly untrue.
What the movie says is this: "It turns out that the White House approved planes to pick up the bin Ladens and numerous other Saudis. At least six private jets and nearly two dozen commercial planes carried the Saudis and the bin Ladens out of the U.S. after September 13th. In all, 142 Saudis, including 24 members of the bin Laden family, were allowed to leave the country."
These facts are based entirely on the findings contained in the 9/11 commission draft report, which states, "After the airspace reopened, six chartered flights with 142 people, mostly Saudi Arabian nationals, departed from the United States between September 14 and 24. One flight, the so-called Bin Ladin flight, departed the United States on September 20 with 26 passengers, most of them relatives of Usama Bin Ladin." National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, Threats and Responses in 2001, Staff Statement No. 10, The Saudi Flights, p. 12;
Isikoff claims that Fahrenheit 9/11 says that these flights out of the country took place when commercial airplanes were still grounded. The film does not say this anywhere. The film states clearly that these flights left after September 13 (the day the FAA began to slowly lift the ban on air traffic).
