A drunk driver trying to evade arrest crashed through a police barricade and just mowed down a bunch of people in downtown Austin. It happened right in front of the apartment building where my son lives. the annual South by Southwest is in town. it's a huge music festival. Someone doesn't just plow into a crowd of people after a couple of beers. Unbelievable tragedy and stupidity! The APD chief said he would be charged with capital murder.
