  • Hurricane Sandy dubbed a "snor'eastercane"!!

I have never heard a storm called that!!!!!!

This storm is getting huge and not going out into the Atlantic like they have been thinking.Of course it could all change but right now hurricane winds, flooding, heavy rain and possible snow are all part of the storm. That's crazy!!!

WASHINGTON (AP) — Government forecasters say a big storm that they're calling "Frankenstorm" is likely to blast most of the U.S. East Coast next week.

The storm is an unusual mix of a hurricane and a winter storm. The worst of it could be focused around New York City and New Jersey.

Forecasters on Thursday said there's a 90 percent chance that the East will get steady gale-force winds, flooding, heavy rain and maybe snow starting Sunday and stretching past Wednesday.

The hurricane part of the storm is likely to come ashore somewhere in New Jersey on Tuesday morning.

NOAA forecaster Jim Cisco said the storm is so massive that the effects will be felt along the entire coast from Florida to Maine and inland to Ohio.

Another report said it will be bad cause its full moon and the tides are at there highest then. They compared it to the perfect storm from some years back....

We have 20-25 MPH winds here in Atlanta today with gust up to 40. Can't imagine what 60,70 or 80 mph feels like. Even a little snow maybe for the North Georgia mountains!!

From predictions I see you might be missing the Thursday night game too. Hopefully the power outages are a minimal but boy it looks like it could be a long week for some..

Pics from the Jersey shore all the way to NYC are just crazy !! We made it through where I am but now am being told to be ready to evacuate because all the rain in the higher elevations will be working it's way down stream to the rivers and streams....there is one creek that connects to the Delaware river about 4 blocks over and the fire department is telling us to go ??? This storm after effects will be through the weekend and far beyond so pray for those hit the hardest !!!

Lock up the house and leave. Don't take any chances. Get everything valuable as high as possible and find a safe place to go stay. Sucks man, I know, but better safe than sorry!

I think God just doesn't like that they made another season of Jersey Shore.
