I heard some tickets cost more than $500. I just looked up one ticket online from some poor guy from Kentucky and his fine looked like this.

Speeding----$175
Double fine for 20mph over-- $175
Transporting shit covered dildo across state line--$100
Offensive bumper sticker reading I fuck horses-----$55
Telling officer he would give him anal to not write ticket--$50
