WILLISTON, ND (WDAZ-TV) - Oil workers aren't the only people drawn to booming Williston. CNN reports that strippers are finding they can make ten times as much as in Vegas.
The town has seen thousands of men seeking high-paying jobs in the oilfields.
But it appears many of them are seeking some female companionship at the town's two strip clubs.
CNN reports that one of the clubs has gotten applications from dancers in Hawaii, Alaska and even the Czech Republic.
"We make more than doctors," one of the performers said. "Back in the day, it was hard to make $200 a night. It was like pulling teeth. Now you can pull in $2,000 a night."
