I just saw a little of Amanda Knox's return to Seattle.

Does anyone know what condition causes that to happen to a person's voice? At first, I thought she was crying but there were no tears or snot or sobs.

I think my wife Marie just solved it. She says bad acting causes that.

She says Knox is faking one emotion while really being overjoyed that she put one over on the Italian justice system.

She's probably right on the money.

I get it that she may have been wrongly jailed and all but why is she being treated to a Heroes welcome? I just don't get all the cheering and stuff. I'm still not convinced on whether she did or didn't have anything to do with it but geez, what are they cheering for?

That's pretty much the way I felt about it, Wayne. A hero's welcome seemed out of place and just weird.

I remember reading somewhere where she said that they had to remind her to speak english.she said it had been 4 years since she has spoken english so maybe that is what's wrong.
