Just horrible news Joe. We were wondering where he was and if anything had happened to him. You were right. It seemed awfully weird and it was. Unfortunately the thing we feared, happened.

I just got off the phone with a family member ...

Monte did not have surgery because when they gave him the anesthetic his blood pressure dropped too low for them to proceed ...

The family says he is resting comfortably ... he is awake and talking just fine ...

Not sure if many of you know but Monte is a young man ... 39 years old ... so he has youth on his side ..

That is about all I can tell you for now ...

When I hear more I will let you know ...

Oh my God I just hope Monte pulls through ok. I said a prayer for him just now. I won't be able to "sweat" any of the games knowing something like this. I now know why sometimes people say, "it kind of puts things in perspective." God bless and good luck, Monte.
