DBurgh, Last year he had 6ft removed and left about 2ft. Hoping with medicine it would get better but never did. So now they took everything out. Doctors said if he waited another day, he would have been dead.. He lost tons of weight and looked very very bad. This is going to be a long recovery for him.. They reopened the same incision and did some other things while inside of him. He is in a lot more pain this time around.. That morphine will get abused for the next couple of days!

The pain is bad, when I was in for my surgery they had me on a drug called Dilaudid, which is 5 times as strong as morphine and I had my own button to push when I needed it...his surgery sounds a lot more serious so I am sure they are hooking him up with the best. I had a condition called diverticulitis and they only removed a small section, but I have a friend who has chrones and that shit is painful itself. Hopefully he can get through the pain and make a full recovery.
