Computer Plug'n Play Question

I have a stupid question to ask hopefully someone can help me with it. I have a JVC camorder and can't get it to download to my computer. It used to download automatically when I pluged the firewire into both. Now when I plug it in nothing happens. I don't know if I changed some settings, all I know is it wont download. Oh runnig vista! Please help, THX

You probably had an automatic update downloaded to one of your Media players that has taken control of all your music and video files, but doesn't work with your Camcorder. My guess would be to uninstall the program that came with your JVC Camcorder and then reinstall it. Or open the program that does your video capture, hook up the JVC recorder and there should be a place on the home screen that says, capture Video. Then the program will find the recorder.

Been to Lexmark, downloaded some driver, who knows, prolly going to pitch the damn printer and learn that i can buy one with a disk at Walmart for the 40 i dropped on this pos Lexmark one
