    1) being completely blind for the rest of your life.
    2) being completely deaf for the rest of your life.
    3) loss of vocal chords and not being able to speak for the rest of your life.
    4) All of the above

There's no amount. Come on, no one would take money for those things.

This was an episode of the original The Twilight Zone back in the early 60's.

A guy made a bet that he wouldn't utter one word for an entire year. He had his vocal chords cut, and in the end the guy that owed him the money was flat broke and couldn't pay.

Sorry Savage, that is the only way I can respond to your question.

No amount of money is worth any of them savage. How the hell would you truly enjoy money without any of those 3?

Money is paper savage. No thanks!

Ok ok-I can see your points especially with regard to sight and vocal chords.
On the other hand, why for the right amount of money would it be so terrible to be deaf?
I mean you can still go about your daily business, go on the internet, people can write in words what they want to say to you, there is sign language, there is close caption on tv for sports and and just about anything(and lets face it many of us put on the moot button for certain sports announcers and commentators anyways.
No you couldn't listen to radio or music, but again for a price, wouldn't it possibly be worth it?
In short, I wouldn't want to be blind or probably unable to speak for any price, but no hearing, I can see(pun intended).

I sort of remember that episode-he should have demanded the money upfront or had it put in escrow.

Ok-here is my answer(at least what I think I would do)
First of all if I was a bit younger, I might not answer it this way.
Also, I am already a little hard of hearing anyways and have had this problem since I was a child(meaning for example I can understand everything said to me by someone near me but in a crowd of people who are talking sometimes I need to have something repeated).,
I would not accept money for the blindness nor inability to talk option.
However I think I might be tempted to accept the deafness option if someone offered me around one million tax free.
ps I would also save on my cell phone bill as I would no longer need one. lol

I would give up my left or right teste for a million, just have to hope the other one has no issues.

Now thats gambling baby! If Lance can bang Cheryl Crowe with one nut, I can make on one.

                            lol

Hmm-that might make a good future question-how much money would it take for someone to give up all kind of sex for the rest of their life?
