I rarely work my to the end of these type of threads, but see why the Political forum was terminated. Some people jump out their shorts too easily and want to get in a pissing match.

there is one thing that I don't understand.....much like when people go into other's picks threads to complain........why? I understand the political stuff doesn't really go anywhere productive. However, that could probably be said about a quarter of the posts in here. We all understand we probably aren't going to change someone, but if we are interested in going back and forth on an issue, why does that bother anyone else? Much like the point I made about Rush Limbaugh not cramming stuff down people's throats b/c they only people that hear his stuff are the ones that tune into this show. If you don't like what Rush has to say, great, don't tune in. I can't stand Bill Maher and Olberman, so you know what, I don't listen to them. As long as they have an audience (albeit a small one) they deserve to be on the air......great thing about this country. If you don't like what is in a particular thread, great, leave the thread......pretty simple to me.

That is one of the major problems with out society, so many people are just looking to get offended by something. I don't think Kaz is a bad guy b/c he has a different view. I enjoy the back and forth, and could really care less if people call me a bad name. Oh no, someone I don't know said I'm an asshole! If you get upset or offended b/c a complete stranger calls you a name, that says as much or more about you than it does about them.

i agree, and i personally thing the politics forum was good, so ppl can see eachothers views..If ppl didnt like it then dont go into the forum..i wish the Mods would bring it back in some way

This is a great site with some really good people. I do not know Jordan Follows.... I know this is America and you do have freedom of speech but I would like to know if Jordan would say say these things in front of people. It is real easy to hide behind the computer....
