Since the Cat/Condo Thread has been closed(and the argumenrts pretty well exhausted) and at this point there doesn't appear to be too much interest in the other two threads I statred, as Spark would say, lets try this one.
The questions are short and sweet, and of course honesty is of the utmost importance for sure;I will be 100% honest when I give my answer as it applies to me thats for sure.
Anyways in a nutshell, aside from financial considerations(that is losing more than one can afford to lose ) do you think that in general 1) spending a good part of your day thinking about gambling related activities and hanging around a chat forum is or could in a sense be considered in an addiction in somewhat the same way as an alcoholics, drug smoking or overeating addiction?
2) Assuming you answered yes to #1, do you think the addiction applies to you specifically and if so, please state why and give examples which have negatively impacted your life or your relation with your significant. other.
I realize that is may very well be a controversial topic, but I feel it is important iin that hopefully it will get everyone including me to be honest most importantly with themselves as well as with other members.
