I've been trying to understand the thinking behind the NFL's ruling on instant replay. If you are going to give me two plays that I can challenge and I use one, or two of them and I'm wrong, why should I lose a timeout? It makes no sense to me why the NFL does this. Is it because teams coaches are showing up the ref's? Is it because teams coaches are slowing the game down? I just don't get it. The policy should be you get two challenge's. If you challenge right on both you get a third challenge, that's the way it is now. But you should not be charged a timeout for being wrong in challenging a play imo.
