All the Oklahoma H.S. football powerhouses are in the Tulsa area (Jenks, Owasso, Tulsa Union). Tulsa Union's stadium seats 30,000+. All the Oklahoma City area schools keep splitting up so a school from the western half of the State will probably never win another State 6-A football title. They can't compete with the big schools in the Tulsa area.

I used to live in Owasso. They have one of the best baseball programs in the State. As for football they are good, but do not have the facilities that Jenks or Union have.

You're right. Owasso is more of a baseball powerhouse. They won another state title this year. My brother and his family live there.
