CANYON COUNTRY, Calif. — '70s Golden Age performer Marilyn Chambers was found dead in her residence in Canyon Country Sunday night, the L.A. Coroner's Office has confirmed to XBIZ.
The cause of death has not been determined but foul play was not suspected and an autopsy is pending.

Chambers made an impression at age 19 in the 1972 Mitchell Brothers film "Behind the Green Door," and worked with the Mitchell Brothers for the follow-up "Resurrection of Eve." She was married to producer Chuck Traynor, who also had been involved with Linda Lovelace, and worked with John C. Holmes in the 1980 film "Insatiable." She also appeared the 1977 mainstream independent film "Rabid" for director David Cronenberg.

She returned to adult in "Still Insatiable" for VCA in 1998, and made some instructional videos in 2006-2007 and occasional appearances at industry events.

She would have been 57 on April 22.

Wow, rubbed out more than a few to that chick in her heyday.

She always reminded me of Chris Everette
