  • Going to vegas fri for 1st time.. please help

I know there are many threads like this one on this site but i just found out my best friend is going to vegas on friday, yea like tommorrow. 1st time and probably only time.

so where should he go, what to do guys ?

any info you guys can give me on what is going on in vegas now would be great. I know shows and clubs and everything comes and goes, anyone know what is out there right now and maybe give me some insiders spots instead of the same old tourist attractions

some of the best casinos, shows , clubs, and of course buffett's. whatever you guys got throw it at me.

any info or feedback much appreciated
    thanks a lot guys

    Mr. Pain.

Hey Pain....I'll give ya some of my favorite places there.....

For buffet's....I like the Mirage buffet for dinner a lot. Reasonably priced for Vegas and it has great seafood and anything else you can think of.

For night clubs. Pure in Caesar's is probably the best for a Friday and Sat night. Tons of women all night long. MGM has Studio 54 and Mirage has good clubs as well. The Pussy Kat Dolls at Caesar's is a lot of fun as well....

For some free stuff. RIO has a Mardi Gras parade floats overhead every 30 minutes and a musical dance show in the middle of the casino. It's free. Also, the Bellagio has a water show that is a site to see. Every 15 minutes. It's free too.

Fine dining. Emerl's has a place in the MGM and Venetian. Pretty expensive but good food.

Cheap food. Behind Bally's is a place called Ellis Island. They offer a filet steak that's not on the menu and a potato, salad and a beer for $6.95. Real decent food for the price.

If you like roller coasters, the NY NY coaster is one of the best.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

      Good luck and have fun!

I'm just here so I won't get fined....

One of the local restaurants which I hit everytime is Battista's Hole in The Wall.... terrific food and reasonable prices...

It is close to Ballys on the side road, just jump in a cab and tell them , Battista's....

Shows , we like to see are , The Blue Man Group, Penn and Teller,

Clubs , the MGM Grand hsa some great ones, for that matter all of the large casinos do....

              Have a great time.....
" So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide.
.....All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us
