agree completely, its really useless, I would have loved to see CC stay NL just to hit. Would of made a statement to the league and really had the rule thought about and reviewed

This concerns the PGA ... but it's unrealistic and of course will never happen ...

I know it's flawed and I haven't really thought this all the way through , but the basic idea is :

For at least 1 full year ... better off with 2 ... ask the golfers from all over the world to compete by putting up their own money instead of other people's ... I suppose it could be structured like the buy in with Texas Hold 'Em , but a helluva lot more.


This will tell us who the best golfers really were and are.


It would be the ultimate test of nerves, and the only true measure of who's golf swing would genuinely hold up under the severest of pressures.




(( Had this actually happened , my guess is that Lee Trevino and Raymond Floyd would then and still be recognized as the 2 greatest of all time, while notorious cheapskates like Arnold Palmer ( never goes for spit ) and Nicklaus would be lost in the shuffle.))



I don't know how Tiger would measure up.

I agree with you about Nicklaus but not Palmer, who played balls out. John Daly would be tough in that format because he does not give a fuck. Tiger has so much money it would be to his advantage, like playing with house money.

I would like to see any professional female athletic venue have the women playing in bikini's or naked even. The ratings would sky rocket. Just look at the ratings for beach volleyball when two, very semi attractive chicks compete.

I mean, Sharapova playing in a thong in tennis? Or any of those Russian chicks???

And sticking with the female sports here....The WNBA should lower the baskets to 8 feet. You'd have chicks throwing down slams in each others face. Can't hurt that sport out. No one really watches now anyway......




On a more realistic level.....This would be nuts, but soccer should be played with 6 balls at a time. LOL. Can you imagine what that would look like? Balls flying everywhere (No pun intended). Goalies having to fend off multiple shots?

Raise the height of the rim in basketball,then players will have to go back to the basics on shooting 12-15 foot jumpers,especially in the NBA.Half the players would be out if they cant dunk

For me its a no brainer-use the same overtime rules in the NFL as in college-why should a coin flip in many cases determine who wins?
