Does anyone know why it didn't sink? I am sure that there is alot of air inside the plane, but still I would think that it wouldn't take long to sink...

Luckily the plane didn't start sinking as soon as the plane landed or it could have been a disaster.

they are designed to float for a period of time if they arent destroyed upon impact. the pilot made the right decision 100%

Am I the only one that finds it absolutely bizarre that NO ONE standing on the wing has a life vest on? The only time you see life vests are when they are in the rescue rafts.

I would be very surprised if the pilot and crew do not get keys to NYC very soon...unbelievable!

They probably figured they were in calm water so everyone who could swim didn't need one. Its the freezing conditons that needed to be worried about.
