Just got one for Xmas...anyone have any suggestions on great games or non-game apps to download? I have already downloaded a ton of stuff including Google Earth, SimCity, Shazam, Breakout, Yelp and others...

SportsTap and the Lives Scores app are a must. I wouldn't be able to survive without them! They're both free and work great. Urbanspoon is really cool if you're looking for restaurants in a particular area. And Shazam is a really cool app. If you hear a song and dont know the name of it, you hold your iPhone up to the speaker and it will look up the song for you and give you the name and link to it on iTunes. Those are the main cool ones that are free that I use.Comment

Monte, thanks for the articles...I have read a bunch of stories but you never know if anyone is in someone's 'pocket'...was looking for actual testimonials but I appreciate the help!
Hokie, I had downloaded Sportacular already but took a look at SportsTap based on your recommendation...love it! I already have Shazam and I have Zagat, AroundMe and yelp for restaurant stuff but will look at Urbanspoon tomorrow.
