  • Any Vodka drinkers out there?

I'll tell you what. I use to drink Rum a lot and I started looking for a change. I was waking up a bit on the bad side after drinking rum even though I love it. I can't drink anything with color in it. If I do, it's a trip to the toilet for sure. My liquor has gotta be clear. So I thought I'd give vodka a try. I went with Smirnoff and that shit taste like rubbing alcohol. I then tried Gray Goose which I liked, but my wallet didn't. That stuff is like $20.00 a fucking pint. Then I saw Svedka from Sweden, and I'll tell you what. It's the BEST vodka I have had, and the price is GREAT! If you like vodka give Svedka a try. You won't be sorry!

I love Vodka. I mostly drink Grey Goose, because I've done some taste tests and it's the best straight up, but if you want good value, get Gvori at BevMo, 1.75 L is $25 and it's a steal.

I like to mix it with Lemonade. (No not Countytime KB and JC.) I like Simply Lemonade. It's so smooth you can't even tell you are drinking. I don't know if that's a good thing, or a bad thing though.

I love Pravda, but it's too expensive. I also like Grey Goose and Ketel One; I look for bargains on those, but I regularly drink a vodka that's distilled in Austin, TX called Tito's. It's distilled 6 times. It's good. Depending on where I buy it, it's anywhere from $15 to $19 for 750 ml. At the liquor discount place, I can buy a 1.75 liter of it for about $27.

Hey guys not a big vodka guru (more of a vodka consumer) but I have heard from friends that if you buy Kirkland or other cheaper vodkas and then put it through a Brita filter about 4 or 5 times it is the eqivalent in both taste and quality of grey goose. Has anyone heard of this being true...or tried it?

By the way I have tried Svedka and I like.

My brother works as a lab tech in cali and one of the doctors recommended skye vodka to him. Said it was one of the cleanest vodkas around and the next morning hangover and smell is very minimal. He said his patients are put at ease that the doc isn't hung over or smelling like a brewery before he operates on them.

I tried Kirkland when we were out in Montana (tough drinking laws) and I thought it was pretty good as well.

I heard that Kirkland Vodka is actually Grey Goose.Costco buys it in bulk and has a deal with Grey Goose. You can supposedly see Grey Goose written inside the cap...

Believe it or not, the best cheap vodka is Finlandia. I don't think a Brita filters the vodka the way it needs to be filtered, but that's hilarious that some one thought of that.
