                          I think I like the fact that this failed. Makes the credit lenders have some accountability for all these loans they gave out knowing they would default. Also makes us as Americans take more responsibility and live within our means.

                            I'm kinda thinking the same thing, but at the same time, I think something needs to happen. Wall Street will bounce back, but the Banks need to be able to give loans.

                              That seems like a reasonable position, KB. I don't know what's the right thing. Apparently though, businesses, both big and small will have a hard time borrowing money so it's hard for businesses to grow or maintain which leads to less jobs, slowdown of the economy, etc. It may be time for us to pay the piper...tough times.
