  • Paul Newman is Gone

I'm trying to think of all the great performances Paul Newman gave us in his stellar career. As I was doing so, I started to think of my favorites. That's hard with Paul's "filmography".

    I came up with:

    Cool Hand Luke
    Hombre
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
    The Sting

    What were your favorites?

The Sting is one of my all time favorites. Also The Husler with Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason, who played Minnesota Fats.

      Yes! The Hustler!

"Hud", from that same time period, too! Paul and Patricia O'Neal ran an acting clinic in that one.

Thank you, BC! What an impressive list! He was never associated with a stinker! Remarkable!

I think the color of money was the follow up to the husler. Kinda.

Slap Shot, maybe not one of his best acting movies, but one of my all time favorite movies. He will be missed. Never signed an autograph, didn't think he was worthy of it.
