it was on the news, bush's presidential address fucked the whole thing up. Under the stage were helium inflated baloons. When Bush came on, the whole thing was delayed for about twenty minutes. By the time Blaine jumped, he was told the baloons had deflated too much. Blain was supposed to jump off, slam off the stage, and bounce back into the air, then be taken away and disappear in the night. That's what sucks about doing things like this live on national TV
