Its been a long time since I went to a concert, but the four I really enjoyed when I was younger which come to mind in no special order are Chicago(saw them on a summer night at the Yale Bowl-great conver), Jefferson Airplane, The Who and J Geils.

Great thread to bring back some good memories. One thing I love the most to escape from the trials of life is live music. Maybe the next thread should be yr favorite live bands. My list would be Incubus, the Urge, 311 to start.
Saw over 140 groups in my day...mostly in the late '70's and early '80's...some of the most memorable in no particular order...
Springsteen (The River Tour)
Heart/Billy Squier
Queen
Journey
July 4th Fest: Alice Cooper, Foghat, Eddie Money, Sweet
Ted Nugent
Eagles
Beach Boys
Boston/April Wine
Foreigner/Bad Company
Electric Light Orchestra
Mostly country but some pretty good ones:
1.Brad Paisley with Carrie Underwood second row
2.Def Leppard-vip concert at a bar with only 100 people
3.Tim Mcgraw-played for over 2 hours
4.Alabama-seen them about 8 times
5.Kenny Chesney-hottest women on the planet are at his concerts
6.Paula Abdul- Laugh but when I was 15 she was the shit
7.Montgomery Gentry-Wild drunk night
8.Bush-Can't belive the fell off the map after "16 Stones"
9.Damn Yankees w/ Ted Nugent
10.Alan Jackson-Hungover as hell the next day
1}U2/The Alarm 1983.Only about 2000 people there. The alarm played mostly acoustic guitars and harmonica with the bass drum cranked up all the way. U2 played basic guitars bass and drums but the music was great!!......2) The Police 1982 Ghost in the machine tour. The best overall musicians ive ever seen in a rock concert. 3) Journey/Brian Adams 1984 Journey looked like they played the concert lip syncing from a video tape. Brian Adams put on a hell of a show. If it were a contest Brian Adams kicked Journeys ass!!!
1. Metallica - hands down they played for over 3 hours at Giants Stadium and then decided to come back and play some of their new stuff(this was years ago, but hands down best concert I have ever seen)
2 Beastie Boys
3 D12
Only been to 4 concerts so not much else to put up there since I saw D12 twice.
