I'm heading to Vegas for the first time in 2 weeks for a bachelor party. Any recommendations for the sports books? I've heard good things about Stardust. Is that the place to go? Our plan is to spend lots of time at a book Sat and Sunday for football. Of course we'll be doing plenty of other stuff in between... Appreciate any recommendations.

Been to alot of the Books in Vegas and my favorite is MGM and Mirage.Harrahs is small but pretty cool because they have blackjack and craps table inside the sportsbook so you can play and watch the big screens at the same time.If it's your first time, trust me you will be amazed in whichever one you go in.

Thats cool.Stardust is pretty much the one that got all the sportsbooks going. Now most of the casinos have them and it is a fun place to be at no matter which casino your in.

Thanks Vols. I can't wait. So how do you put the bets in? Are there cards you fill out or something? (I know this is probably a stupid question.)

You use rotation numbers. Just look on the board for the game u like and go to the window with the rotation numbers and tell them what u want. Its real easy.

Thanks JC. I'll try to check it out. After the Hoover Dam of course.

or if you are downtown you can go to the Plaza's book and fight a bum for a seat on one of the cumstained old used fallen in couches in front of their bank of tv's

Caesars- Plenty of room and a good amount of tvs.
Venetian- about the same size as Caesars and they still do the drink tickets.
Wynn- Really small but if you can grab a seat they are really comfy.

Going in Sept too. Can't wait. GL
