I Was Looking For A Little Help. I Am Handicaped In A Wheel Chair And Would Like To Remodel My House To Make Everything Accessable To Roll Around The House My Living Was A Garage At One Time So To Get In The Kitchen I Have To Crawl Up Three Steps And Sit In My Other Wheel Chair I Would Like To Make Everything Flat. My Question Is If I Did This Does Anyone Know Of Any Grants That Are Maybe Out There....

Do you have a powered wheelchair?

And do you mean putting in ramps?

There are disabilty grants out there, but since it involves the government I'm sure there is a lot of red tape. Have you tried contacting your local Attorney Generals office or your local politicians offices? They should be able to put you in touch with the proper government branch that handles these things.

No Powered Chair I Am Just In A Regular Chair I Am Pretty Mobile For The Most..... Ramps Will Not Work I Had One In That Room And Had To Take With Area In The Room It Was To Steep
