August 5, 2008 One-Armed 'Bandits' Indeed Here's a new one for the crime blotter: Florida resident Carlos Gutierrez placed a 911 call yesterday to report that a slot machine at Tampa's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino had stolen his money. He then followed up with a second call to police, reiterating his complaint. Not amused, the cops arrested him for making a false 911 call.
