Going to fly solo to Lincoln to cath the Hokies play. As I want to see all 50 states and this would be 39, thought it might be one of the rare opportunities to want to visit NE.
Plane ticket is in hand and am working on a place to stay with some NE alum family members.
Just curious to hear some information about Lincoln and NE. Excited to see the black shirts and the lore of husker football. Anyone give some places to check out? Any good bars or must eat restaurants? I would appreciate some local insight.
Also, I hear tickets are tight, any suggestions on finding one? I hope to find one through a fellow Hokie alum as it gets closer to game time, but one never knows. Heard Lincoln can get tough due to rabid fans. Will I be able to find one on the street there or do I need to purchase one before hand? I am looking for one and I don't want to break the bank.
