  • Man loses balance, falls to his death after game at Shea

NEW YORK (CNN) -- A man fell to his death after a baseball game between the New York Mets and Washington Nationals at Shea Stadium on Tuesday night, police said.

The man was sliding down an escalator as fans left the stadium when he lost his balance and fell four stories at about 10 p.m., the New York Police Department said in a statement.

He died about 25 minutes later at Booth Memorial Hospital.

Police identified the man as 36-year-old Antonio Nararainsami of Brooklyn.

They said they are investigating the death as an accident.

That's what I heard. There was also talk on the radio today about more alcohol restrictions at games. Pretty soon there will be no more drinking aloud at sporting events.
