Monte.....If this thread is getting under your skin that much, which it appears it is, then get rid f it and all political chat on here PERIOD! Seriously. The bottom line is that we are not going to change each other's opinions. And the end result is always name calling when someone has had enough.

Political opinions are so deep at times for an individual and have come from so many sources. Parents, TV, news, personal experiences. You just can't change years of something that is ingrained into a person's mind.

I personally like to debate politically with people who are 'knowledgeable' and can at least make sense with a reply. It challenges me. But some can't handle it and end up hating on others.

If you leave this forum up, take some time off and pick and choose your battles......JMHO

I will agree with Jordantool this one time. I think people liked going in there and reading who was having the latest battle. But I do think their are some people who now have different opinions of others based on their political points of view. Which is not healthy. I know for a fact, some hate me or think differently about me because of my views on here.

Actually the page views weren't that high compared to posts per thread. And I do agree you can start to feel differently regarding posters when you're arguing politics and religion.
