  • ? About a Personal Injury

I got my MRI results back and it says I have ruptured my bicep tendon, have a couple questions if anyone had any info, cant see my doctor until Monday thats why im askin. What is worse it being tore or ruptured and if i elect for surgery what does it consist of being in a cast and rehab time or if i should just do rehab from the start an dforgo the surgery and what ids that time frame, any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Looks like to me that you will have to have surgery.

I have torn my labrum twice and had surgery twice. Depedning if they can do arthroscopic surgery or not will determine the rehab time. If they can do it arthroscopically, the rehad time is considerable less. If not, it can take up to 6 months of rehab I was told.

Honestly, elect for the surgery. It will take time to get back to normal, but it usually offers a 110% recovery rate. I have been very thankful to have all three surgeries on my shoulder... the last due to Bone Spurs.
