And, believe it or not, he left us something very special...a large dump in the toilet...imagine that!!!

Man ... i would feel totally violated and i would be pissed. I also think i would put 10 locks on the door!

My Yamaha surround system was only $299 at Best Buy. I have the base box, a speaker on the t.v. and one in each corner of the room (5 total). It is awesome and it has a ton of easy to use settings like the radio, cd player, to watch sports, to watch movies ... it is really good!

I bet the 360 would sound UNREAL on it!

Jurassic park and Top Gun are 2 of the coolest movies i've watched with the surround on. The Jets in Top Gun sounded like they were flying through the living room. I think it made my heart race!

That's a completely different beast. Start searching and reading up on home theather speakers etc. It all depends on how much you want and can afford to spend. You can buy seperate controller and amp or a unit with a built in amp.

Speakers for a true surround sound you will need a center channel, 2 front speakers and 2 rear speakers. Speakers can range from a few hundred bucks to over $100k.

Speaker wire is confusing as well as there are makers that sell that stuff from anywhere from pennys per foot to thousands of dollars per foot. They call them snake oil.

Monster cable is way overpriced as you can buy wire online that is better wire for less money. Best Buy loves selling monster as it has a huge markeup.

On my computer I got a logitech system with 4 speakers and a subwoofer which is good for music.

When buying a TV always check ebay as you can save a minimum of $300.

On home theater you can try going to www.audiogon.com
