  • Movie Review: Rambo

Ok well first off I was against seeing this because who wants to see a 60 year old man on steroids running around doing things he did 30 years ago.

The special effects and graphics were extreme to say the least. You get to see people explode and have their heads shot off. It actually was a lot more graphic than any other Rambo movies in the past.

It also gave a stunning insight on what it might be like in other countries. Not saying that everything that happens in the movie actually occurs, but it might not be that far from the truth either.

Overall, it was a little short I thought which is much better than being too long. It was produced and directed very nicely. Stallone did not look as old as he is and you could actually understand him in this one. There is a very nice scene with some flashbacks to old movies that was done superbly.

Overall I would have to say 4.5/5 easily.
    NFL System - Year 1

    Week 3 3-2-1 +0.8 Units

    Week 5 2-3 -1.3 Units
    Week 6 4-1 +2.9 Units
    Week 7 3-0 +3.0 Units
    Week 8 2-3 -2.35 Units
    Week 9 0-1 -1.1 Units

Stallone looks all puffed up in the face to me. He's taking HGH injections.

he has admitted to doing so, and was quoted in saying all men over 45 should take it, says he feels as good as he did when he was 20......

Burma is the real story here. He brought notice to it by the movie but the sad thing this is what is playing out in these forests. People are being mined and shot and put into its army.
As for Stallone- a last bit of glory. Arnold Swartz... doesn't look to good either. You give a lot up tomorrow for looking good today. Your body rebounds the other way when you come off of the injections.

"Steroids" are illegal. HGH and certain types of testerone are not.
I have no qualms about taking them when I get older. It is quite simply about quality of life.

Many problems arise from half truths put out by politicians, newscasts, dishonest supplement companies, etc.

I dont understand why anyone would choose a lessor quality of life when there are other options. I am not going to argue with anyone regarding safety. I dont feel it is my job to convince anyone otherwise, just do the same for me.

At this point my would say my quality of life regarding sex, physical fitness, and over well-being has been dramatically increased by not just a healthy lifetstyle, but adaptogenic herbs and scientifically backed vitamin/mineral/supplementation research. Supplementation plays a key role for sure.

A good place to start would be Smart Life Nutrition and LEF.ORG

As for your body rebounding... yes and no. Depends on how well you kept track of your progress via testing. It is a process and it gets safer and more predictable as time goes on. I have never done any steroids so I am not biased here. Weaning off steroids, legal or illegal, can be done in a way that is safe with little regret. Not sure about legal injections, but I know illegal ones you HAVE to wean off. Bodybuilders call it cycling.

I will tell you that for cancer and AIDS patients there is not a therapy out there that can improve your health almost overnight like steroids. Too bad for politics getting in the way. Anyone remember "DR X" from the early 90's in Muscle Media put out by Bill Philips?

Oh yeah, I enjoyed Rambo very much. He plays that role well. Stallone was not "lucky" in his success. He worked/s harder than most people and I have alot of admiration for him because of those facts.
