  • Golfing in HI

Guys, going on a cruise in May. We stop in Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island (twice)...so far I got the following courses lined up:

    Maui - Makena North
    Kauai - Poipu Bay
Big Island - Mauna Lani South

Anyone played these? Other suggestions more than welcome...thanks.

In Kauai, Poipu is a great golf course which is the host of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. That is where I met Tiger. But also if you have time the Princeville at Hanalei course is a great place to play.

In Maui the Ka'anapali is a challenging course. The north course is harder than the south course and a must see golf course.

In the Big Island, mauna lani is going to be windy there. But up the street at the hapuna golf course is just beautiful. It is a good golf course or you can go to the Mauna Kea golf course on the South kohala course.

      Have fun in Da Islands.

Poipu is awesome, you will love it...there are other courses on the other side of Kauai that I did not get to in Princeville. MM is correct and try to ge ton to Hanalei.

        GL and enjoy....
