  • LoveDoc.. Got Another Young Yankee Player For Ya To Look For!!

Just finished up watching the YES Network.. They show upand coming minor league players every week and we have a pitcher that is in AAA.. He goes by the name of Ian Kennedy. You ever heard of him?? The highlights that they show this kid seems to have some sick stuff.

Yes... I got his autograph while he was pitching in Tampa earlier this year... He like joba has dominated at every level and should be a sept call up... He reminds me of a young mike mussina with excellent command.

Whats with Joba? I heard he has his own rules. He can only start an inning. He wont come in in the middle of an inning. If he pitches 1 inning he wont pitch the next day. If he pitches 2 innings he wont pitch the next 2 days. How does he get to make his own rules?

I agree. I just can't believe a "Yankee Fan" of all people would throw Torre under the bus for Rivera's pitching.

Its not his rules... Its the front office... I can't really blame them because they need to keep his arm safe to be a starter next season... dont want to blow it out

The way the announcers talked, it was his rules. Why wouldnt the front office want him to come in in the middle of an inning? How will that hurt his arm?

Because he needs alot of time to warm up...more than the normal bullpen guy... Thats the only thing he is used to...

Torre has changed since his days with the championships... When he "trusts" a pitcher, he will overuse him....

                              Examples..

Proctor - Dead Arm lastyear... started to affect him again this year

                              Villone- same as above

                              tanyon sturtze - see above

Paul Quantrill... had to retire because his arm was abused
